Maha Sowbhagya Shunti is a time-tested medicine used in post-natal care. Maha hingastaka choorna is also advised to be taken during the post natal period, it strengthens the uterus and prevents diseases from arising due to improper management of post-natal care. It is nectar for lactating mothers and hence is popularly known as baananti lehya and takes complete care of the post-natal period. Maha sowbhagyashunti is also given during the menarche period (starting of the menstrual cycle) to regulate menstrual cycles and treat gynecological disorders like PCOS and obesity. Maha sowbhagya shunti is also a very good digestive stimulant and is benificial in mangement of Rhemutoid artritis and artristis.
Apart from these, indicated in amavata (rheumatoid arthritis) and disorders related to abdomen like flatulence, indigestion, diarrhea and dyspepsia.
It is also very beneficial in obesity, arthritis and in rheumatoid arthritis.
Dose: 5-10 gms with milk twice daily.
